Informational, not an official chart. The zones come from official sources, but the map can go out of date or be wrong, and temporary restrictions (NOTAM) are not on it at all. General rules that apply everywhere

Not on the map, but they apply.

People and built-up areas
A1 — flight over people: under 250 g (class C0) you may overfly uninvolved persons, but never an assembly of people. A2 — close to people, at least 30 metres away; down to 5 metres in active low-speed mode. A3 — far from people, at least 150 metres from residential and recreational areas (uas.gov.ge also names commercial and industrial areas).

Near an airport
Near an airport, open-category flight is possible after agreeing it with the aerodrome operator in advance. A specific-category operation near an airport needs an additional permission from the agency. Even in the open category, the agreement with the aerodrome operator is made before the flight, not after it.

Rescue work
No flying at or near a site where emergency or rescue work is under way without the consent of the person in charge (GCAA Order №156, Art. 25(3)).

The state border
Flying across the state border is an international flight, which is certified-category only (Order №156, Art. 7.1(b)(d)). The border zone is a strip up to 5 km wide from the border line or the coast (on land sections up to 30 km by government decision), plus the border-control areas of international airports, ports and rail stations; the border strip is up to 500 m. Entering, staying and working there needs a special Border Police pass.

Private property
Allowed in the open category, as long as the category's conditions and the personal-data rules are respected. Flying over and filming private land needs the owner's prior consent — the operator must not infringe third parties' rights.

Temporary restrictions (NOTAM)
Some military areas are activated by NOTAM, inside the limits of the permanent areas drawn here but higher. Temporary restrictions are not on this map — check the NOTAMs before you fly.

Military sites outside the AIP
The Ministry of Defence sites that have a zone are in the AIP and drawn in yellow (flights only with permission or an authorisation). For other military land no public drone rule was found — the OpenStreetMap layer is for orientation only.

Zones over individual sites
Since 2025 the Agency can, at the request of whoever is responsible for a site, set a drone zone over it where flying without their consent is banned: public institutions, industrial plants, nature-protection areas and national parks, residential zones, outdoor pools and private beaches, emergency-response sites, roads, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, bus stations and strategic sites (Order №156, Art. 16.2, as amended in 2025). These zones are not on this map — check airspace.gov.ge and the NOTAMs.
