How an order is placed
There is no card payment on this site yet. You put what you want in the basket, press the button that opens a conversation, and the basket arrives as a written list. We reply with what is actually on the shelf, the total including delivery, and how to pay.
Nothing is dispatched, and nothing is charged, before that conversation has happened and you have agreed to the total.
What delivery costs, and how long it takes
Both are agreed in the conversation before anything is sent, because both depend on where the parcel is going and which courier is carrying it. We would rather tell you a figure we can stand behind than publish one that turns out to be wrong for your address.
Before a parcel leaves
Every order is checked against what was agreed, and anything that can be powered up is powered up before it is boxed. A drone that arrives broken costs everybody more than the ten minutes this takes.
If something has just gone
Stock counts on this site are read from the shop's own inventory and are usually right within the minute. They are still a report rather than a promise. If something has sold since you added it, we tell you in the conversation before you pay, and never after.
